Carl Zeiss Optronics has developed the Hensoldt NSV-80 Night Sight Attachment for missions during poor light conditions or nighttime operations. During design, Hensoldt based on the residual light amplification principle and is ideal as an attachment for almost all telescopic riflescopes on the market. As a result of its compact design, the Hensoldt's NSV 80 is a lightweight, reliable instrument with high image quality for military and non-military applications.
This Night Vision Device is offered with intergrated solutions to permit the use of the NSV 80 Night Sight Attachmentwith the respective weapon.
The NSV 80 requires no start or warm-up period. It can also be easily and accurately operated when the user is wearing gloves. The fast clamping device enables mounting to any Picatinny rail.
